Satyr-a-call?

I keep on thinking of AH's earlier description of the satyr whispering, "go ahead and say it" and of the element of embrace, and I've painted those into the painting, but I don't know how to express this stuff in a title.

Ken and Elizabeth you're both right. The painting no longer even remotely reads as a girl in front of a mural; much more a satyr coming out of the background to interact. But that's what I want. I have to think if I want to beef up the girl so she stands up better to the satyr, though.

Any more ideas?Jean Spitzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13520415864511680025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596223475426533484.post-17466626264630370962009-06-01T16:42:08.033-05:002009-06-01T16:42:08.033-05:00I like the changes in the girl on the cell phone a...I like the changes in the girl on the cell phone a lot. I wonder if there is a way to make the mural part (?) intrude less into the foreground so that it is a little easier to figure out what is going on. I love the images together, even the shock of it, but perhaps it would make it easier to "see" if there was a little more space between the two planes.

Caught Unaware?

Worlds Apart?

Sorry if the commments or titles aren't helpful.Elizabeth Seaverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08733386945501359383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596223475426533484.post-87942713603137050692009-06-01T15:40:04.498-05:002009-06-01T15:40:04.498-05:00i think the painting is bout to smack her across t...i think the painting is bout to smack her across the headKen Machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09100185198750536244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596223475426533484.post-8209180015500814682009-06-01T13:33:44.344-05:002009-06-01T13:33:44.344-05:00I'm trying...I'm trying...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5596223475426533484.post-73364920914379504742009-05-31T19:10:27.888-05:002009-05-31T19:10:27.888-05:00Hearing from an Old Friend?Hearing from an Old Friend?Cafe Pasadenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12366911652838118347noreply@blogger.com
