Her pose is actually tremendously uncomfortable, if you are trying to sustain it for hours, which she was. Even with breaks every twenty minutes or so.

I like all the angular shapes.
ReplyDeleteThe centered cross marks across the torso work so well with all the angles. Did you make that choice in order to soften those marks?

ReplyDeletePA and Katherine, the cross lines I put in on the right are completely imaginary. I wanted something to balance the left.
I did the same with the lines/angles around the figure.

But I get it.
I thought it looked pretty comfortable, too, until I tried it.
ReplyDeleteHolding truly still, even in the most benign pose, quickly becomes uncomfortable.
Reminds me of standing-up cocktail parties. Hate 'em.
