Wonderful diagonal construction, not the easiest. Construction lines, erasures, paint-overs, I love the process showing on the finished piece. it adds energy and movement.
Karin, I am the worst with music. The songs are for group drawing sessions, so I can listen to something other than the music being played for the group. I pulled the music off of what was available free from Amazon; includes Sweet Home Chicago, You Can Leave Your Hat On, Everybody's Talkin'.
Lately, I've been using life drawing as a starting place for works that combine reality, imagination and experience.

Like the left construction lines. Adds to the sketch.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Anthony and Linda.
ReplyDeleteI like the added effect of the wrinkled paper and the fold that runs down the center
ReplyDeleteOooo, must know -- what's your drawing/painting playlist?
ReplyDeleteAh, looks relaxed. Love the hand casually over the head and how it continues the gentle downward line across the page.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Liz and Katherine.

You can leave your hat on -- oh, I can definitely see that.
