Dreaming Woman

Tombow marker and black ink on watercolor paper, about 8"x12".

I'm just starting to play again with markers, ink and brush--and I am enjoying the experimentation. I like the colors bleeding from the top of the figure, giving some sense of motion and life.

Drawn from life, Wednesday morning.

  1. Great drawing. Love the drama you’ve created with the colors and contrasts of values.

  2. Yes, the drama is striking--makes this more than a drawing done in a classroom. Beautiful.

  5. Ciao,
anche questo dipinto, come gli altri,
    trasmette emozioni.
Le tue donne non sembrano felici, ma esprimono profondità di pensiero e
tormento di vivere...emozioni forti e vive.
    Ciao, ciao, Floriana
