Green/Black

Drawn from life, November 25.

Tombow markers, water and brush on 9" x 12" watercolor paper.

Update, December 23:

Very cold, today.

I have found some relief from the effects of so much cold weather: Whirlpool and, especially, sauna.

  4. Our weather promises to be most unchristmasy this year, and I'm not complaining. Happy holidays, Jean.

  5. Happy holidays, Karin, from the frozen Midwest. (Not complaining, just observing.)

  8. Moody, contemplative. I'm not sure she's a holiday mad shopper. Good for her. But I hope she cheers up soon. (pretty sophisticated art criticism, eh?)

  9. Good story for the picture.

I think the sad ness part comes from the vertical drips.

  10. oooh, just caught this. Yeah my favorite. Murky palate and that downward movement of line. Rain like (which we need desperately)

  11. Thanks, PA.

It is a favorite of mine, too. I like the lines and splashes. And green, black or green, blue work for me.

Hope you get some rain, soon.
