I am really inspired by the drawings you've been doing from life! They are pushing me to get off my bum early Saturday mornings and get over to the open life drawing studio at the art association. I am also curious about trombow pens (?). They are new to me, but I like the lines they make. All of this to happen as soon as I get my land legs back.

This was a daylong pose for the model. I stopped in in the morning, when the room was super crowded, and then tried again in the afternoon, when it was still pretty packed.
The good part about not really being able to get close to the model is that it fosters imagination.
Lately, I've been using life drawing as a starting place for works that combine reality, imagination and experience.
