  4. You've been doing all of this, and I didn't know it. I have people to my house who see your two paintings and think it's me. I should put up post-its -- Not Me. But, well, why spoil the dream.

    I agree, the not me post-its would spoil the fun--and the look of your stuff.

    If you decide to go the written route, why not try those printed information cards, like the ones in museums? Maybe for all the objects in your house. For example, "table, oak, circa 1910, maker unknown."

    Provenance could also be fun. Many of my objects would read Rose Bowl Swap Meet or PCC Swap Meet.
