Love it! I just tried my hand at IPad painting from life yesterday. It was exciting. I do love that ArtRage. My favorite tool is the palette knife. What is yours?
Linda, I like the palette knife, too, also the brushes, tube, pastel. Mostly just the sensation that I can use materials lavishly, no worries about cost or waste.
Lately, I've been using life drawing as a starting place for works that combine reality, imagination and experience.

ReplyDeleteThe spiral was a prolonged doodle I made on a plane ride, the figure I sketched in quickly from imagination.

DeleteWhat an intriguing juxtaposition. You work well from imagination as well as from life.
