Great piece. Working with the app looks like would be fun..
Thanks, Anthony. The app is fun and challenging just a little--not a bad thing.
I like how you are replicating your life drawings in different mediums. This app allows for some amazing 3-D detail!
Whoa -- I love it.
Thanks, minn.I was able to get more of what I envisioned with the app than with the marker. Also, because there is no investment in paint and support, the experience is very freeing.
Thanks, Karin.Still waiting on the face recognition story.
Curious Jean -- are others pulling out there iPads during modeling sessions? Times they are a changing
It was a regular sight in Austin. Not so much at the club I draw at in Chicago, which leans toward traditional media and styles, tons of rendering by those making drawings and attempts at faithful colors by the oil painters. I usually don't use it for life drawing sessions. This was done at home, without model present.
It's wonderfully visually tactile.
I like the tactile effect too. Feels like a vivid dream.
Thanks, PJ and Katherine. The ability to create surface texture is a wonderful feature of this app.
Great drawing. Great color and texture. The iPad is a valid way to sketch. You got me started with your expertise.
Thanks, Linda. When I'm in situations where painting isn't available, the painting apps provide some of the experience. also cheap way to plan painting, experiment.
