ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Reminds me of a classic although I can't remember who by.
ReplyDeleteBlue fits her expression, but it's also a bit bright, and that way it gets past the conventional "blues" and melancholy associations.

Mostly what the sketch evokes for me is last summer, with its shimmering relentless heat.
