Ciao,
ReplyDeletesono molto belli tutti e tre: il primo trasmette un senso di abbandono completo, nel secondo "parla" il contrasto - La sagoma ultima, trasmette staticità e movimento insieme.. Molto belli!
Ciao, ciao, Floriana
Jean these are all so good, I find the last one really great
ReplyDeleteJean, these are just unique, very strong drawings. They are moving me to sign up for a figurative class. You had a great model, but the way you expressed the poses is very exciting.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely have a good body of work here, JS!
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy how you take the drawing far beyond the pose being provided by the model.
ReplyDeleteWonderful movement, you got them all really perfect...but favorite is the second one !
ReplyDeleteWow. I can't decide which one I like best. The first one made me a little sleepy, and then I saw the second one and I thought "oh my."
ReplyDeleteThe last figure is a bit different from anything I remember you doing before.
ReplyDeleteLove the way your work moves. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like the first and third best. As usual, I can't explain why--lines and colors are just more pleasing.
ReplyDeleteBanjo, how funny, because I really like the second one. Something to do with gravity and how the body is resting and where it seems heavy.
ReplyDeleteYou got into a really fascinating style with the last one! Looks so cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you, all.
ReplyDeleteL.W., I love figure drawing and I highly recommend it. If you don't have the patience for a class, you can look around for uninstructed workshops, where there's a model and people come and do their own work. That's what I do. Much cheaper than hiring a model for yourself.
I love love love these reds and blues.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ruth. I do, too.
ReplyDeleteParabéns, Jean. Amei teus traços, as expressões das figuras... enfim, tudo. Se por acaso, quiseres conhecer meu blog, ficarei feliz. um abraço.valeriasouza-telas.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valeria, and welcome!
