So you mix in marker too; I like the effect. Your "smouldering" colors are very attractive. I really like your work. It's not "pretty." It's real. It gets me every time.
These were probably half hour to 45 minute poses, I think. Maybe 20 minutes, because that is about how long a model can go without a break and I usually like to start a new drawing after a break.
Plus I went home and added some stronger color than what I had with me at the drawing session, so maybe another one to five minutes.
Lately, I've been using life drawing as a starting place for works that combine reality, imagination and experience.
