love this!
ReplyDeleteThis is masterful! It might be my favorite. I love its dreamy quality and how the purple-grey of her hair seems to glow.
ReplyDeleteBravo Jean. Un desnudo precioso, cargado de sensualidad. Me "enamora" su cabello y su tono, la espalda, el contorno de la cadera, el color de la carne,...
ReplyDeleteSultry drawing. I love your use of ink with pastels, great technique for a smokey finish.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura. Me too.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those works that is better in person, where you can see the texture of the worn bits pf soft paper.
Thanks, Susan.
ReplyDeleteThis is also a favorite of mine, among recent drawings.
Thanks, Blanco.
ReplyDeleteThis is one I love too.
Thanks, Silvia.
ReplyDeleteI like "Seated Woman" but I love this one. I can't top the others' adjectives--"dreamy," "purple-grey," and "smoky" with just those little spots of more vibrant color. Superb.
ReplyDeleteThe softness of the paper and the softness of her figure really compliment each other.
ReplyDeleteOh wow. This is spectacular. It may be my new favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Banjo.
ReplyDeleteThis one is headed for framing and hanging.
Thanks, Minn.
ReplyDeleteThe rolls of paper bits give this an interesting texture.
Thanks, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteIt started out as an uninteresting sketch, but developed.
Very nice! Composition, color, texture, shadows...well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chieftess.
ReplyDeleteIt is a favorite of mine in person, too.
Gorgeous painting,
ReplyDeletebrava!!
Thanks, Denise.
ReplyDeleteI'm drawn back to this one. For many reasons. But what holds me is the anticipation.
ReplyDeleteAH, you have made me see something in this that I didn't realize was there.
