  1. I love your fly walking all over the surface style. it's inspiring me and showing my how up tight I am when it comes to these heads. So glad you're back. --These drawings have me reconsidering using watercolor papers, markers (if they haven't dried up?

  2. Love these! They seem informed by the model's character. Great lines.

  3. I'm seeing a blend of Kurt Vonnegut and Hal Holbrook as Mark Twain--guys I've never put together before, but why not. Social satire, humor, good yarns.
I'd also never have thought of red and blue for a "head shot," but I like the drama of it.

    Welcome back!

  5. Thanks, Linda and Anthony.

Linda, I am glad this is making you want to try the markers with watercolor paper. The only caution I would give you is that exposure to a lot of direct sunlight will fade the finished product.

  6. Thanks, Katherine.

The model seemed to be having a difficult afternoon and it showed in his face.
