Magnifique travail! Très joli post! je te souhaite aussi de très belles fêtes de fin d'année accompagnées de joie et bonheur ! Belle journée à toi, et merci de tes visites sur mes pages! Cath.
Never a dull moment in your art:-) I love that you repurposed another drawing. Makes for a very striking piece, actually. Maybe because I impose my emotions on the piece... conflicted...chaotic? Life is just sometimes like this, and i love the honesty of the piece:)
I like Anthony's comment about "the search." I'd never have thought of that, but I can see how it might have been trickier with this (appealing) pose than others. I also like her blueness, though I can't say why except for the surprise of it.
Lately, I've been using life drawing as a starting place for works that combine reality, imagination and experience.

Graceful.
ReplyDeleteI like. Like the construction, the search that took place to find her place on the page.. Good colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karin and Anthony.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like searching to place her on the page.
Actually, it is repurposing a less than stellar drawing by turning it upside down and drawing over it.
I need to get more paper.

ReplyDeleteReusing the paper added to the drama of this piece. I do intend to take markers to a life drawing session. You've opened up a world of possibilities.

ReplyDeleteI like that you art on top of art.
ReplyDeleteThanks, all.
ReplyDeleteI re-use, re-cycle, and try not to use more new stuff than I must, AH.
Mainly, I love the layers, complexity, pentimento and the chance to add more interest to the page.
