Well, black is the color of winter. And purple because of background hangings.
You would think white because of the snow, but everyone wears black or dark neutral outerwear and the snow fairly quickly turns gray or black as it gets driven on, trod on.
More generally, often has to do with colors of that I see on my way to the studio, blues or greens in the lake or trees or sky.
Lately, I've been using life drawing as a starting place for works that combine reality, imagination and experience.
