Green Woman, Gray Man and 3 Heads
These are drawings from 2008, from life. The larger pieces are each 20"x26", the smaller is 10"x20".
Green Woman and Gray Man were each longer poses; 3 Heads was the same model doing short poses. Once again, I'm using markers, and brush and water. Green Woman also has areas of pastel.

This is my first visit to your blog and it's been really rewarding.
ReplyDeleteI think these are really powerful. I especially like Gray Man and 3 Heads - something about the strong lines together with the washes.
I look forward to seeing more.
Thank you. I love your blog --the paintings are amazing and I love the advice, too, especially your practice of leaving the brushes in oil.
ReplyDeleteI'm so drawn to the man with three heads. This is exquisite work!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laurie. As you've probably gathered by my visits to your blog, I'm a huge fan of your work (I was going to say photos, but it's also the words).
