Season's Greetings, December 2010

Drawn from life, this morning.

Pastel on card.

My models were some branches from this morning's walk.  I don't know what kind of tree the predominant branch is from, but the leaves suggested in the background are from Spanish oak.

I wish us all a peaceful and joyful season.

  3. thanks Jean. Beautiful, but it does remind me of one of the casualties. Oh the mad rush of it all. Still accessing rain damages.

PA, I'm thinking of you all and hoping you stay as warm and dry as possible, while you deal with what the rain has brought.

  12. Pierre and Liz, merry happy holidays to you both.

I've just been for an extended hike, lake (Ladybird Lake) and mountain (Mt. Bonnell), separated by a breakfast at 24 Diner.

Beautiful--and just cold enough (41) to merit bundling up, without the worry of bits freezing off.
