Dreaming In Black And White; Standing Figure In Orange And Blue; Reclining Figure

Drawn this morning, from life.

Dreaming In Black And White is ink on three pieces of 9"x12" drawing paper, laid end to end. (About 28"x9".)

Standing Figure In Orange And Blue is ink and Tombow marker on drawing paper, about 7"x11".

Reclining Figure is ink and Tombow marker on drawing paper, about 8"x12".

I love your line work and your paintings are really coming alive. Great work these last figurative posts.

Thanks, all.

With the black-and-white drawing, I found myself drawing bits on the board my paper was taped to, realized I liked that composition, so got out some extra paper and taped the sheets in place, so I could draw the rest of the figure.

The model's pose created such a graceful long line, and I wanted to indicate that grace.
