You have a real talent for figurative drawing. I like your rough use of color too.
ReplyDeleteexcellent. the facial features are spot on. reminds me of hans hobein. also the choice to cobble the drawing together. that must have been difficult
ReplyDeleteI like the yellow over the sketch. It speaks of spring, which I am ready for.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite color combinations. I have an amethyst and gold necklace that would look very nice on her!
ReplyDeleteDitto the above commentators!
ReplyDelete"1" of how many??
ottimo lavoro, stupendo
ReplyDeletegreat drawing - lively and free, catching the pose beautifully :>)
ReplyDeleteI like this one too. The color has more power than I can explain, and the lines seem very realistic.
ReplyDeleteThanks, all.
ReplyDeleteCafe, it's one of two, at this time.
PA, I carry a roll of tape with me--and just keep adding pieces. This model did remind me of 16th century work; cool that you caught it in this drawing.
Really like the breasts, upper arms, hand. (How does PA know that stuff?)
ReplyDeleteGreat figure, very special the lining of light/shade.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you drizzled the yellow across the woman in the drawing, Lovely!
ReplyDeleteExcellent color combinations, Jean. I really like your figurative drawings.
ReplyDeleteYou bring to life the beautiful shape of a woman with a few black lines and what might look like gold scratches if considered on their own. It's remarkable to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks, all, and welcome, Anga.
ReplyDeleteLove the crazy line marking and dynamism of this piece. A very intriguing piece.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Shelley.
