At the Art Gallery (iPad Sketch)

Drawn from life, last night.  GrayDUCK Gallery.

It was hot (around 100 degrees F outside) and crowded, last night at the art gallery.

Sketched quickly, while waiting for the gallery owner to speak.

NATURE UPDATE:

My first fawn photo of the season.

  1. I'm surprised you had the energy. Crowds and extreme heat and I don't mix. At least sketching lifts you above the reality. Is that woman holding her stomach? She looks as uncomfortable as I would.

  3. I like the bright shirts against the browns. (I was seeing two male subjects . . .)

  5. It's amazing how some of the aps, such as this one, give the impression of 3-dimensional texture. Very fun.

  6. Thanks, Margaret. This app let's you do some interesting stuff. Like draw on marbled paper, as here. And throw down some oil paint, as here.
