Drawn this morning, from life.
The large painting is oil pastel and acrylic paint on 20"x24" canvas.
The small piece is oil pastel on 6" square origami paper.
I will probably add some detail to the large painting, but I want to live with it for a bit before deciding.
I don't know if I've mentioned on this site before, but I bought a "Jean," and it gives me great, great pleasure each and every single day.

ReplyDeleteI'm especially taken with the little square, which I will likely crop to an even smaller rectangle. (The part to the right of the knee will be the part that goes.)
lovely how the flowers of the origami paper show through. A bed of roses (make that daisies)
