Man In Blues And Greys; Reclining Man In Red
Drawn this morning, from life.
The large painting is oil pastel and acrylic paint on 20"x24" canvas.
The small piece is oil pastel on 6" square origami paper.
I will probably add some detail to the large painting, but I want to live with it for a bit before deciding.

I don't know if I've mentioned on this site before, but I bought a "Jean," and it gives me great, great pleasure each and every single day.

ReplyDeleteAH, mention it as often as you like. It gives me great pleasure to hear it.
ReplyDeleteLaura, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm especially taken with the little square, which I will likely crop to an even smaller rectangle. (The part to the right of the knee will be the part that goes.)
lovely how the flowers of the origami paper show through. A bed of roses (make that daisies)
ReplyDeleteI love that you did this on origami paper, which, always has such an elegance about it. You are very clever. I'm changing my mind again. The little origami one might be my very favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks, PA and Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThe origami paper is so wonderfully goofy and incongruous seeming, yet I like it, too.
The small red origami piece is lovely!!
