Drawn from life, in Spring.

Charcoal on 18" x 24" paper.

  1. Interesting presentation and as always well done figures. Why do artists' models always have such droopy boobs? Volume, of course. Rubens lives in figurative drawing workshops, not at the corner Starbucks. I once had a skinny male model, there wasn't much one could do with him. It was Giacometti Day.

  3. It always amazes me how much you are able to convey with a few lines.I also like how you superimposed one on top of the other.

  10. Thanks, minn.

Limited paper can lead to surprising solutions.

I think this was the first time I did a picture on a picture of the same pose from different vantage points.

Lots of times, having just one piece of paper makes things more interesting.
